Barbell Row
Barbell Row is a barbell pull exercise for the back, and it also works the biceps and forearms. If you cannot do it, Smith Machine Row or Yates Row are good swaps.

How to do it
- Hold the bar just outside your knees and hinge until your torso is about 45° to the floor.
- Keep your back flat and knees slightly bent, the bar hanging below your chest.
- Row the bar to your lower ribs, driving your elbows back past your sides.
- Lower with control until your arms are straight.
Watch out: Standing up as you pull, which turns the row into a jerky shrug.
