Deadlift
Deadlift is a barbell pull exercise for the back, and it also works the glutes, hamstrings, forearms and core. If you cannot do it, Dumbbell Deadlift or Deficit Deadlift are good swaps.

How to do it
- Stand with the bar over your mid-foot, feet hip-width, and grip just outside your legs.
- Bend your knees until your shins touch the bar, chest up and back flat.
- Take the slack out of the bar, then push the floor away, keeping the bar against your legs.
- Stand tall by squeezing your glutes, then lower the bar the same way under control.
Watch out: Rounding your lower back or jerking the bar off the floor.
