How to do it
- Stand over a dumbbell between your feet, hinge and grip it with one hand, back flat.
- Drive through your legs and hips, pulling the dumbbell up close to your body, elbow high.
- Punch your hand through and under so the dumbbell locks out overhead.
- Stand tall with your arm straight, then lower the dumbbell back under control.
Watch out: Curling the dumbbell up with your arm instead of driving with your hips.
